Introduction to Permaculture Workshop

Ever wanted to know about and understand Permaculture?

Join Purple Pear Farm for an inspiring Introduction to Permaculture workshop and learn how to design productive, resilient garden systems that work with nature, not against it. Discover core permaculture principles, practical techniques and simple steps you can use to transform any space into a thriving, sustainable ecosystem.

Permaculture is about designing sustainable environments with the focus being on how we provide our needs in a way that works with nature’s processes and ecology. You can use Permaculture in your own household and garden because it addresses all aspects of human culture, not only food production but how we build, how we organise ourselves and how we utilise our resources.

Brought to you by Sugar Valley Sustainable Neighbourhood Group and Lake Macquarie City Council through the Lake Mac Grows program and presented by Purple Pear Farm at Holmesville Community Garden, this free 2 hour workshop will answer all your questions about permaculture

To help support the garden, morning tea will be available for a gold coin donation and there will be plants and liquid worm fertilizer available for purchase.

Numbers are limited, so get in early and book now!
