Introduction to Portfolio Design - Interior Design

If you’re considering a career in design, Whitehouse offers the exciting opportunity to develop your foundation Interiors & Design, culminating in the start of a specialist professional portfolio in Interior Design.

Students are introduced to the fundamentals of Interior Design in this one day intensive workshop that begins with an interactive hands on lecture covering the basics of Interior Design and communication. Students research a current theme in Interior Design which will direct a design concept from initial ideas to finished Interior design communication. Students apply materials to communicate their design before finalising their concepts digitally through inDesign. Resulting in the foundations of a professional portfolio that will act as the starting point to studying a career in Interior Design.

What will you take away from the workshop? One A3 physical Collage and one A3 Digital Interior Design Communication (collage, illustration, fabric swatches and typography).

Resources will be provided for you, however please bring the following to participate: 
 Scissors, Glue stick/Double Sided Tape, A3 Folder/A3 Sleeve
