In this three- and half-hour workshop, students will learn the fundamental skills needed to create a lino print. Through expert instruction and hands-on practice, participants will learn how to handle carving tools safely and gain an understanding of the linocut process, while learning how to use a printing press.

Whether you are a beginner or looking to brush up on your printmaking skills, this class offers one-to-one tuition in a small group setting. No previous experience is necessary.

ABOUT YOUR TUTOR CECILIA JACOBS

Cecilia Jacobs is a visual artist, graphic designer, and experienced and knowledgeable printmaker having worked for Fitzroy Etching Presses and Melbourne Etching Supplies and experienced arts technician. Cecilia's arts practice is predominantly in printmaking, across various techniques including lino cut reliefs, monotype and intaglio processes.
