Event description

Bayley Arts is fast becoming a popular hub for printmakers in the southside, and people are loving our introduction to printmaking classes held once a month.

Join artist Cecilia Jacobs in this special 'Introduction to Monotype Printing' where you will learn the fundamental skills needed to create a monotype print and explore positive and negative space.  Learn how to use both additive (applying ink) and subtractive (removing ink) methods. You will also learn how to use a printing press and the type of tools and papers used for printmaking. Whether you are a beginner or looking to brush up on your printmaking skills, this class offers one-to-one tuition in a small group setting.

You can join Cecilia once a month at our ‘*Saturday social print club’ so you can continue to use our printing press with fellow printmakers and get expert advice.

Max of 8 students.
