The Centre for Restorative Justice is pleased to offer this introduction to Restorative Justice and Practice Professional Development Workshop
Restorative Practice - a social science incorporating a relational approach to dealing with conflict or behaviour development within organisations or schools.
Are you interested in restorative practice? Is your workplace/organisation considering adopting a restorative approach to dealing with conflict and encouraging behavior development? This workshop is for you!
This Introductory one-day Workshop provides a strong foundation of the theory of Restorative Practice with some practical exposure. It is highly recommended for all Organisations including those working in the community services sector and healthcare. This workshop will be beneficial as a starting point for those interested in gaining knowledge of Restorative Practice or as refresher on practice for those who have attended basic training previously.
9.00am - 3.30pm on Tuesday, 18th April 2023
Investing in your Professional development:
$250pp excl GST - incl light lunch and refreshments or $225 pp for Group bookings of 3 or more from the same organisation.
Our experienced Facilitator/s will provide a day that includes theoretical underpinnings and practical interaction.
Objectives of the day include:
- Basic Knowledge of the theoretical underpinnings of Restorative Practices.
- Using the principles of Communication Circles to build, strengthen and repair relationships within your community.
- Basic Foundations of Restorative Processes in daily life
- Some practical fun interaction.
