Event description

Introduction to some bio-dynamic gardening approaches with Rachel Pomeroy. We are looking forward to host Rachel in our gardens!. We will hear about some of the bio-dynamic approaches, and then get our hands dirty, making and applying the tree paste (a special mix of clay, manure with biodynamic preparations). This tree paste is like a concentrated 'tonic' for our trees! We also will stir and spread the bio-dynamic preparation '500'. While we stir, we will hear and learn more about these homeopathic preparations that care for the soil and land. Bring some cash as koha for the material, and Rachel's time and petrol. As always, our gathering will round off with a cuppa and a snack around the fire, for more questions and conversations. This workshop is part of the regular monthly community meet up of the Miriona Gardens community (also called POG, short for Paekakariki Orchards and Gardens), first Sunday of each month). Always all welcome.

The address of 162 Tilley Road lead you to the Weavers Cottage. There is a large parking area and playing field to the side. Our gardens are west from there.
