Introduction to the Wood Workshop (Thu AM Series) Nov 2026
INTRODUCTION TO THE WOOD WORKSHOP
New to woodwork? This popular and empowering introductory woodwork series is a more in-depth version of our Introduction to Woodwork one-day class and covers a broader range of woodworking equipment, techniques and skills.
Our small class sizes and experienced women teachers make this series ideal for novices or anyone wishing to upskill, particularly in power-tools and machinery. Once completed, you can continue your woodworking journey into our beginner Carpentry or Cabinetry programmes, or explore our woodworking skills classes such as ‘Building Shelf-Esteem‘.
You’ll create a project you can either take home or gift to the community, supporting kindergartens, schools, or our WomenzShed Empowerment Fund.
