Introduction to upholstery

In this 3-hour beginners class, Kelly from Shiner Creative Workshops will demonstrate upholstery tips and techniques and provide participants with a personalised plan of action for their own furniture upholstery project.

Kelly will include advice about fabrics, how to make bias piping and fabric covered buttons, and the basic tools needed for upholstery. 

Need help starting an upholstery project? Bring it along! Kelly will create a plan of action for you, including what you need to do, and advice about the materials and tools you’ll need for your project.

When: Saturday 30 September 10am - 1pm.
Where:
The Darebin Hard Rubbish Heroes Pop-up Workshop - 25 Separation Street Northcote, opposite Santa Maria College.
