Introduction to Vegetable Gardening
Description
Learn the basics of how to grow your own winter vegetables! This class covers essential plant needs and how to raise common annual vegetables like broccoli, peas, and cabbage from seed to harvest. Designed for the beginning and hopeful backyard gardener, this class will include demonstration and practice of potting plants, as well as a tour of the edible garden.
This class is suitable for adults and teens.
Materials Needed
Please bring garden gloves if you have them. All other supplies are included, and gloves will be available.
Instructor Bio
Grace has been working at Gamble for a little more than three years. She is an anthropology graduate from St Mary’s College of California with a passion for sustainability.
