Introduction to Waka Ama - Auckland Climate Festival

Paddle around the Waitematā harbour and the shorelines of Auckland City, while learning about the history of the region from a Māori perspective.
While on the water, your navigator will share stories about the historical events in the areas around Ōkahu Bay, a how they have changed over the years.“Being so close to Tangaroa with nothing but a waka and a paddle, sometimes paddling for hours at a time, is like meditation.
