Introductory Bookbinding

Jacky Cheng is a Broome-based printmaker and artist who works with paper.  She is also an award-winning art facilitator. Join Jacky for a morning in the Red Shed and learn about the craft of bookbinding 

Jacky will teach Japanese stab stitch and you will learn how to bind your own personal notebook as well as discovering the diversity of styles, traditions and art of creating beautiful and useful books.   Covers will be created with coloured or decorated card, or you can use an artwork you created in the Gelplate monoprinting workshop.
