A two-day workshop organised by the RCPAQAP Anatomical Pathology Team.

Target audience:

Laboratory scientists/technicians learning immunohistochemistry and Anatomical Pathology Junior Registrars wanting to know the science behind immunohistochemistry and its clinical and diagnostic uses.

Areas to be covered:

This two-day workshop will consist of didactic lectures provided by experienced speakers. Scientists will share their technical knowledge in the pre-analytical and analytical phases contributing to immunohistochemistry. Anatomical Pathologists will provide insight into the diagnostic interpretation and clinical uses of immunohistochemistry, including predictive biomarkers.

Expected outcomes:

Participants are expected to gain skills in routine diagnostic immunohistochemistry and learn the clinical uses for predictive biomarkers.
