UTAS Sustainability team is leading the Inveresk Ecological Restoration Project which aims to restore a site larger than 3,000m2. It will be a biodiverse site with ecological sustainability at its core. The project will involve mulching.

Our Monday Restoration mulching sessions will continue every Monday from 10:30am to 1pm until early November or until all the plants are planted. The sessions will start at 10:30am with a welcome and briefing, we will then begin mulching. There will be a break and hot drinks will be provided at 12. The session will finish at 1pm.

Please wear or bring with you on the day: enclosed shoes, weather appropriate clothing, a hat and water bottle. If you already have your own gardening gloves and trowel you are welcome to bring them. We will provide gloves, sun cream and we will have a First Aid Officer and first aid kit on site. Check the weather forecast for the day for wet or windy weather conditions.

If you are unwell on the day please stay home to recover and cancel your ticket to allow another person to attend in your place.
