Colac Workshop: Investing in Rural Community Futures

Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR) invites not-for-profit organisations, community groups and interested stakeholders in Colac* to attend a face-to-face workshop for the Investing in Rural Community Futures (IRCF) program.

*Representatives from smaller nearby townships that are connected to Colac through services and other means are welcome to attend.

Location: Salvation Army, Colac (51-57 Dennis St)
Time: 12:30-4:30 pm
- Arrive at 12:30pm for lunch
- Workshop commencing at 1pm until 4:30pm

The face-to-face workshop will:

Explore where your community and NFP sector is at right now - the strengths and opportunities
Provide an experience of the IRCF program and some of the key elements
Introduce 'community mapping' (knowledge, assets, networks) and how it can guide potential IRCF activities
Consider how the IRCF program could make an impact in your community.
