Colac Workshop: Investing in Rural Community Futures
Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR) invites not-for-profit organisations, community groups and interested stakeholders in Colac* to attend a face-to-face workshop for the Investing in Rural Community Futures (IRCF) program.
*Representatives from smaller nearby townships that are connected to Colac through services and other means are welcome to attend.
Information Session Details:
- Date: Tuesday 4th February 2025
- Location: Salvation Army, Colac (51-57 Dennis St)
- Time: 12:30-4:30 pm
- Arrive at 12:30pm for lunch
- Workshop commencing at 1pm until 4:30pm
The face-to-face workshop will:
- Explore where your community and NFP sector is at right now - the strengths and opportunities
- Provide an experience of the IRCF program and some of the key elements
- Introduce 'community mapping' (knowledge, assets, networks) and how it can guide potential IRCF activities
- Consider how the IRCF program could make an impact in your community.
