Join us for the Inner Northern Youth Employment Network (INYEN) meeting on Tuesday, March 18th, from 10:00 to 11:30 am at Merri-bek Youth - Oxygen Youth Space, Coburg. Hosted by Merri-bek City Council, this meeting will explore employment pathways for young people in the City of Merri-bek, with a specific focus on opportunities within the Early Childhood Education and Care sector.

Speakers:

Chris Cheal, Economic Development Unit Manager – An overview of Merri-bek’s diverse economy, including key industries such as healthcare, creative industries, manufacturing, and education.
Bonnie Thomson, Early Years Planning and Development Officer, will provide insights into the demand for early childhood educators, key skills and qualifications, training pathways, apprenticeships, entry-level roles, and industry challenges and opportunities.

This meeting will also provide a fantastic opportunity for networking with professionals across the youth employment and education sectors, allowing you to connect with like-minded individuals and explore potential collaborations.
