Inner Northern Youth Employment Network (INYEN) Meeting - Mar 18th, 2025

Join us for the Inner Northern Youth Employment Network (INYEN) meeting on Tuesday, March 18th, from 10:00 to 11:30 am at Merri-bek Youth - Oxygen Youth Space, Coburg. Hosted by Merri-bek City Council, this meeting will explore employment pathways for young people in the City of Merri-bek, with a specific focus on opportunities within the Early Childhood Education and Care sector.

Speakers:

• Chris Cheal, Economic Development Unit Manager – An overview of Merri-bek’s diverse economy, including key industries such as healthcare, creative industries, manufacturing, and education.
• Bonnie Thomson, Early Years Planning and Development Officer, will provide insights into the demand for early childhood educators, key skills and qualifications, training pathways, apprenticeships, entry-level roles, and industry challenges and opportunities.

This meeting will also provide a fantastic opportunity for networking with professionals across the youth employment and education sectors, allowing you to connect with like-minded individuals and explore potential collaborations.
