Michael Falk is the chief economist for IP Australia where he leads its program of economic evidence and advice. He has a PhD in the management of technological innovation from Melbourne Business School, and a MA in publishing and communications from The University of Melbourne. Michael has over a decade’s experience in research, strategy and communications roles across government, academia and industry, including work on entrepreneurial strategy for Australian and UK digital media startups. He is an advisory board member of the Intellectual Property Research Institute of Australia (IPRIA) at The University of Melbourne.
