For creative industries, intellectual property (IP) and commercial agreements provide vital tools to safeguard rights and generate business value from creative works. Ownership of IP can help creatives obtain appropriate recognition and compensation for their work. This workshop will cover copyright and other forms of IP, which type of IP is best suited to the creative endeavours, as well as IP ownership, confidentiality and trade secrets.
