Join us for an exciting evening at the Institute for Photonics & Advanced Sensing (IPAS), home to world-class research in advanced sensing, quantum technologies, medical diagnostics, environmental monitoring, and space photonics.

At IPAS, scientists and engineers use light, glass, and cutting-edge sensors to solve real-world problems. Our projects bring together photonics, chemistry, engineering, biology, and more, creating truly transdisciplinary opportunities for research and innovation.

Event Highlights

  • 4:30pm – Poster Session
    Explore research posters from IPAS research groups and discover the Summer, Honours, Masters, and PhD projects available.

  • 5:15pm – Pizza Networking
    Enjoy free pizza while networking with scientific leaders, researchers, and current students.

  • 6:00pm – Optional Lab Tours
    Experience state-of-the-art optics laboratories. (Closed shoes required for lab access.)
