Jina (Mahsa) Amini's Third Anniversary - Movie Screening: Reading Lolita in Tehran

On 16 September 2022, Jina (Mahsa) Amini was killed in state custody after her arrest by Islamic Republic's morality police, sparking the Woman, Life, Freedom movement.
Join us for a free community screening to mark the third anniversary of Jina Amini. The Iranian Solidarity Group NZ will screen Reading Lolita in Tehran — a 2024 feature film exploring courage, literature, and resistance in Iran.

We have a one-off online streaming permission for the film. In case of any internet outage on the day, we will screen Parastoo Ahmadi’s Karvansara concert and a previously held panel discussion on "Woman, Life, Freedom: Pathways to Justice.”
