Iraqi Cuisine: Green Rice, Jajeek and Kofta

Learn how to make traditional Iraqi green rice with Jajeek sauce and Kofta. This workshop (suitable for vegetarians and meat eaters) teaches how to prepare this delicious meal that is healthy and full of flavour!
Nagham will guide you on which spices to use to create authentic and traditional Iraqi staple dishes. Her business, Iraqi Cuisine, does private catering and markets across the nipaluna/Hobart area. Nagham loves cooking and sharing her culture through her love of good food.
This workshop culminates in a shared meal. Please advise of dietary requirements at checkout. Please note that some dietary requirements may not be able to be met due to the nature of this cuisine. Get in touch with us if you have any concerns or queries.
Don't forget to bring a takeaway container to take home any leftovers!

Please arrive on time - or better yet, a little early, as all sessions will start on time. There will be coffee and tea available while you wait, and you may even get to see the results of other workshops! Please note: this course is suitable for people 15 and above.Â
