ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini and Claude are now part of everyday work, often before anyone has decided how they should be used. They do not work like the cloud software you already use.

What staff type and upload is sent to data centres, often overseas, and processed by a system that can give a different answer to the same question each time. Privacy law, client contracts and vendor terms still apply to all of it.

In this session, a cyber security specialist from Pritech explains where your data goes when staff use AI, which laws and duties apply to Tasmanian organisations, and what you can do about it.
