Description

We’re pleased to announce our next IS Practitioners eXchange on Wednesday 2 December. This is a free event with a mix of informative talks, workshop collaboration, and a site tour of New Zealand Steel.

This is a two part event where you can participate in either the morning session, the afternoon session, or both.

The day begins with a site tour of New Zealand Steel's new electric arc furnace. Meeting at 8 am at Mott MacDonald, you'll board transport to site, enjoy a tour of the plant (PPE provided), and receive lunch on the premises. After that, a bus returns you to Mott MacDonald in the CBD.

In the afternoon you'll hear from Mott MacDonald, as well as talks on road ecology, compounding sustainability initiatives and innovations, water infrastructure, and modern slavery. You'll also participate in three workshops to share knowledge on the living environment, working successfully across organisations, and moving forward together.

The best ideas at this conference will be the ones you share! Our Ideas eXchange will bring out some of the most innovative industry practices, sustainability initiatives you can implement right now, and a chance to share your own successes.

The site tour is optional, and so it is possible to attend just the afternoon sessions. To attend both, when registering, please be sure to select tickets for both the eXchange first and then the NZ Steel Tour.

We look forward to seeing you there! Please register below.
