Isabel Rumble Bird Be Brave Album Tour

Rising indie folk singer-songwriter Isabel Rumble launches her debut album Bird Be Brave in Meanjin / Brisbane with special guest Biddy Healey.

A cosy intimate (seated) evening of folky songs and storytelling traversing the terrains of love, nature and human relationships.

Isabel offers a contemporary sound likened to Laura Marling and Mazzy Star. She has opened for the likes of acclaimed folk duo Lior & Domini, guitar virtuoso Daniel Champagne, and New Zealand’s Holly Arrowsmith. Festivals include Cygnet Folk Festival, Party in the Paddock, Cobargo Folk Festival, PANAMA and Dark Mofo.

Following her emergence into the Australian music scene last year with standout singles Precious Burden and Solitary Dreaming, Rumble has seen widespread national and community radio play and a run of sold out shows in Victoria and Tasmania. Isabel’s debut album Bird Be Brave was released March 31st. Recorded with Tasmanian producer Luke Plumb (The Mae Trio, Ruth Hazleton) the full length album is a powerful debut from one of Australia’s newest contemporary-folk voices.
