    ISEA2024 Sunshine Coast
    2 — 8pm Saturday 29th June 2024

    UniSC Sunshine Coast
    FREE

Join us in celebrating all things art and technology on the closing weekend of ISEA2024.

A feature is the UniSC Art Gallery ISEA2024 exhibition Strange Weather which brings together artworks that broadly consider how our contemporary understanding of the environment and our place within it is mediated by technology. Here, strange weather is a metaphor for ecological, geopolitical, technological, and economic fragmentation.

Featured events on the afternoon include ANAT Synapse in Conversation: 20 Years of Art + Science, where ANAT CEO Melissa DeLaney will lead a discussion with a panel of leading Australian artists and scientists to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of ANAT Synapse, a world-renowned art-science residency program in Australia.

Explore featured works from the ISEA2024 international program across campus, including immersive works in the Cave and interactive AR experiences. The night will close with live outdoor audio-visual performances from juried and guest artists, including a collaborative response to Strange Weather.

Cash bar available from 5 — 8pm. See the full program here.
