How can we redesign our spaces to be clean, green and eco-friendly?
In our Sustainable Futures after school program students will be exploring sustainable design as they design schools, cities and homes that are clean, green, and eco friendly. Combining research and case studies from around the world, with their creativity students will be exploring how they can design and implement sustainable initiatives around their local community.
In our Sustainable Futures program, we will be exploring:
- The Challenges of Pollution & Transport;
- The Future of Food in Our Societies;
- Renewable Energy Solutions;
- The Influence of Social Enterprises;
- And Much More!
From initial research, to creating practical solutions, this program will helping students explore how to truly develop a sustainable future and build a better tomorrow, today!

Who Is This Program For?
This program is open for year 7, 8 & 9 students at Indooroopilly State High School.
When Does The Program Run?
The program will commence in Week Three (6th May) and run until Week Nine (June 17th). This program will run from 3:15-4:30pm every Thursday afternoon.
Where Will The Program Be Held?
The program will be held in Level 3 V Block - V311.
What Do Students Need To Bring?
We ask that students bring a device if they have one. All other equipment will be provided.
Do Students Need Any Prior Experience?
Students don't need any prior experience for this program. We will be able to cater to different skill levels and interest areas. We just ask that students are excited and willing to participate.
