Island Magic: The Roadshow screening will highlight our creative island communities via screenings of the Island Magic documentary alongside creative workshops and performances from locals who appear in the documentary. Food, drink and Artisan market stalls will also be at this free public screening.

This screening will include a special performance by the Joe Geia Band, handpicked collection of artisan market stalls, weaving circles and food stalls. As well, local food outlets offer special meals for sale. The event is free to attend but a registration ticket is required for entry.

The documentary Island Magic showcases stories of artists and arts workers from the Redland Coast Islands.

They explain how their island homes enhance their artistic passions and style. They speak about their inspirations of their strong connections to the environment and their traditional heritage.

Redland City Council is proud to provide funding for the Island Magic: The Roadshow Screening as part of the Village Events and Activation Grant to assist the Redlands community.

The Island Magic Screening takes place on Quandamooka Country, the traditional owners of the land and sea.
