Island Vibe is teaming up with Peace Run Records to bring an extra special camp out edition to the Sunshine Coast.

Island Vibe has moved from beloved Minjerribah to a gorgeous new site on the Sunny Coast - We’re taking flight to... Hangar O Campground!

Nestled on 160 acres in beautiful Gunalda, just two hours north of Brisbane, Hangar O is a nature-lover’s dream. Picture this:

A spring-fed billabong and natural creek

Abundant wildlife, open skies, and lush surroundings

A bar, stage, and plenty of space to dance, connect, and celebrate

We’re re-opening camp tickets and stalls, so gather your crew and let’s reignite the spirit of our beautiful island community — together, under the stars.

Our program features Redcliffe's biggest export since the BeeGees - the reggae dub legends Kingfisha, the ever uplifting soul vibes of Kooii, the perennially delicious Chocolate Strings, Samoan lord of the ukulele Bobby Alu, Fijian songwriter queen Andrea Kirwin (full band), the Caribbean/Brazilian delights of Solua, the irrepressible ecstatic Brazilian energy of Groove Bahia, the South Pacific reggae of Toko, the percussive pleasures of Spankinhide, the madcap impro delights of Byron Dreaming, plus exquisite concerts by Alisha Todd, The Seeding, Deline Briscoe and Arileke.

As a special treat the Sunshine Coast's most excellent Yama-nui Studio is presenting the sexy smooth yacht rock of Tommy Sexton & the Suggestions, and Raw Ordio - A Tribute to Oka.

New additions are Afrobeat/DNB firestarters the Sugarfunk Fairies, Shadefoot, Shane Daniels and Mad Bunny!

Our workshop space includes cultural workshops with Leaf Bennett of the Dulingbara Tribe, singing with Pete Hunt, log drumming with Charles Wall, water percussion with Elliott Orr, Zenthai Shiatsu Bodywork with Merryn Penington, Kalari martial arts with Lalita Yagnik, natural fibre weaving, music industry forums, poet's breakfast with Nick Grivas, open mic sessions, fireside jamming, kids space and cosy dancefloors.
