EASTERN DISTRIBUTOR
-
Eastern Distributor is the stage name for multi-faceted Naarm based artist Daniel Jakobsson. Performing in disused, repurposed, and reimagined spaces across so called “Australia” the Warrang/Sydney born weaves through atmospheric percussive Techno, contemporary syncopated Bass, and progg-tekk tinged electronica seamlessly, drawing his inspiration from their indigenous Peruvian & Swedish ethnicity along with field recordings from previous travels. Alongside his productions, Daniel co-heads the Eko-System record label and has curated events under the SHED: banner. Under this roof, we’ve seen internationals the likes of Pariah, D.Dan, DJ Gigola, & Nadia Struiwigh being hosted - not to mention the expertly curated, intimate three day outdoor gathering ‘Realm Ripara’.
