Introduction:

While China has not traditionally been considered a health technology assessment (HTA) market, recent policy developments are reshaping its approach to pharmaceutical pricing and market access. A newly introduced self-assessment system now allows sponsors to set prices for new medicines, marking a significant shift in the regulatory and reimbursement landscape.

In this webinar, Mr Shan Jiang, an experienced expert in the Chinese biopharma industry, will provide insights into these important changes and explore their implications for manufacturers, market access strategies, and the broader healthcare ecosystem. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of China's evolving pricing environment and what it could mean for future innovation, patient access, and commercial success in one of the world's largest pharmaceutical markets.
