How long does it take to heal trauma and it’s related symptoms?

The general consensus is that healing trauma can take from months to years.
The reality is that a lot of the work with those who are suffering from the impacts of trauma is to teach them how to ‘cope’ with their issues, how to ‘manage’ their symptoms.
