A love letter to the erased, venueless, underground but growing community of Drag Kings and Things. It’s a King Thing is a place to be weird, don that stache, let your inner boi, thing, wild genderless fool free!
Historically underrepresented in drag scenes the world over, Drag Kings and Things are on the rise.
Experience some of Australia’s finest Kings and Things (all whom once called Adelaide home!) or test your own man-spread by signing up for an open stage spot! Then party into the night with DJ Scott Balls and your new-found drag bros, siblings and pals.
If you want some support putting together your act or approaching drag, look out for workshops run by award-winning kings Bruno Salsicce and Pip Stachio.
