"Every time a bell rings, an angel gets its wings" — Zuzu, It’s a Wonderful Life

Dementia Wellington invites you to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Frank Capra's inspiring Christmas classic It’s a Wonderful Life with your whānau and friends in the lavish Embassy Theatre.

Proceeds from this event will help Dementia Wellington provide community-based specialised support services for those experiencing dementia across the wider Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington area.

A fundraising afternoon tea will be served from 2:30pm. Seasonal, Tiered Cake Stands containing goodies and treats can be purchased to take into the Movie for sharing and enjoying. Your stand will be wrapped and bagged for you to take home.

After the movie, a symbol of hope made by one of our Dementia Friends – a "Zuzu's Rose Petal" – will be available for you to take home as well. You are welcome to make a petal yourself to leave for someone else.

"My thanks go to you, young and old, for supporting Dementia Wellington with our work. Your generosity, as always, makes such a difference. Our team looks forward to seeing you on 13 December at this celebrated Christmas holiday tradition. My very best wishes."

Stephanie Clare, Chief Executive, Dementia Wellington

We look forward to enjoying this very special film with you and your loved ones this December in support of Dementia Wellington and encourage you to spread the word!
