    Event description

Local bassist and soup enthusiast, Sasha Gavlek (they/she), has selfishly brought together some of their favourite bands on the island for the ultimate birthday gig. Un-selfishly, the invite is open to all. Gals, bros and nonbinary hoes, come together to open your hearts and minds with some of nipaluna's most iconic artists, エミエミ (emi emi), Princess Drip, ShadeRA Bellatrix, & L$F. Maybe there will be fairy bread, who's to say!

    エミエミ (emi emi)
is the experimental J-pop project from 25-year-old Emi Doi. Born and raised in lutruwita to her Launcestonian mum and Japanese dad, エミエミ combines Emi's existing indie-music flavour with up-tempo Japanese-pop, drawing on inspiration from the likes of Kero Kero Bonito, CHAI, Kyary Pyamu Pyamu and AAAMYYY. 楽しんでください (≧▽≦)

Electric-pop duo, Princess Drip, mix adorable with audacious. Playful lyrics and synth melodies bop over funky bass and drums. ‘A gateway to your soulful slut era, if you will.’

    Shade
are a fresh experimental alt-pop quartet, supplying original music with outlandish grooves and sizzling sonic layers. Aesthetic is everything, and Shade relish in the beauty of performance.

    RA Bellatrix
brings you electronic existentialism, RnB inspired-keys, beat-indulged chaos and a penchant for drama... come help her figure out what the hell IS her genre, and let the catharsis wash over you.

L$F is an experimental hip hop, baile funk and electronic DJ. Darling of cool girls and envy of hot boys, she is the provider of luscious dance beats and icon energy.
