Tassie Musicians Launch Benefit Album "It's Not Complicated: An Album From Tasmania For Palestine"

The Tasmanian music community will unite for the launch of "إنه ليس معقداً: ألبوم من تسمانيا لفلسطين" (It's Not Complicated: An Album From Tasmania For Palestine) on March 21st at The Grand Poobah. This compilation album, featuring 40 lutruwita/Tasmania-based artists and endorsed by the Tasmanian Palestine Advocacy Network (TPAN), represents a collaborative effort to support Palestinian humanitarian relief through music.

The launch event showcases an extraordinary lineup of sixteen local acts, including Wöølworths\\Flushot, Cathy Diver, Free Live Sports, Stormworm, EWAH (solo), Townie, Fėras, Miah Aplin, RĀ Bellatrix, Q.E., Black Sea Carnys, Electrolyte Orchestra, Tasha Zappala, P A R K E R, Tilley and Dallas Heron.

All proceeds from both the compilation album and launch event will be directed to multiple humanitarian initiatives through the Palestinian Australian New Zealand Medical Association (PANZMA), including:

Providing medical relief to Palestinians living in Gaza and the West Bank
Facilitating medical missions from Australia and New Zealand
Supporting education and training programs that foster the future of Palestinian healthcare
Support for newly arrived Palestinian refugees
Assistance for Tasmanian Palestinians' family members seeking evacuation

The album launch event marks a significant milestone in lutruwita/Tasmania's ongoing community efforts to provide humanitarian support.
