We are facing a critical point in time. Global temperatures are on the rise and we are racing the clock to make meaningful change. But change is happening and at all levels of society. Facilitated by IPCC Lead Author Dr. Carly Green, our expert panel will look at how the new generation are pushing through, intergenerational climate action in Aotearoa and our climate commitments.
SPEAKERS:
- Carly Green - IPCC Lead Author and a PhD in International Climate Change Policy
- Abbas Nazari - former refugee from Afghanistan, Fulbright Scholar with a Master's in Security Studies
- Jenny Cooper - co-founder and inaugural President of Lawyers for Climate Action NZ
- Sophie Handford - youngest District Councillor at age 19 and founder of School Strike 4 Climate in Aotearoa NZ
- Rachel Cooper - Business Sustainability Advisor with a background in climate change science and circular economics
