Event description

A comedy ‘fun-raiser’ for Maccabi Pan American Games Masters Football Team
Thurs 9 November 7pm
Juniors at the Junction, Corner Haig St and Anzac Parade, Maroubra

A night of standup comedy, classic sketches and musical satire in support of the Australian Masters Football team heading to Buenos Aires for the Maccabi Pan American Games in December!

The boys are in training… honing their best moves - on the field and on the dance floor! Because in Argentina, it takes Jews to tango! Help them get their coach on the plane and enjoy a night of top Jewish comedy with this outstanding line-up:

  • Jackie Loeb ("Had the crowd in laughter-induced agony… One utterly funny lady!” - Time Out, New York)
  • Peter Meisel (“Hilarious, simply soars!” – Revolver)
  • Rodney Marks (“A genius, wrapped in linguistic parody, inside a suit.” – Australian Stage)
  • Your host with the (goal)post, Geoff Sirmai and his satirical sidekick David Fisher (Comic Roasts)
(“Sly shafts of wit” - Sydney Morning Herald)

Drinks at club prices and lucky door prizes aplenty including: theatre and concert tickets, fine wines and two nights accommodation at any TFE Hotel in Australia.
