About the Class:

Ciao! Are you ready to make two of the most popular Italian dishes? In this class we are going to learn how to make handmade Zucca e Ricotta with butter and sage, completely from scratch. We'll explore the art of making fresh pasta dough, preparing a delicious pumpkin ricotta filling to stuff, seal and shape our ricotta. We will then finish the ravioli in a sage butter sauce for the perfect italin touch. We will end the night making Crema al Limone: a bright creamy lemon custard dessert. Come ready to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty.

Please bring a to go container for any leftovers.

About the Instructor:

Come learn with Luca, born and raised in Brucoli, a charming fisherman's village in Sicily. It was there, watching his mother, that he developed a deep passion for cooking. Now, he enjoys sharing the flavors of authentic Italian cuisine with all who are eager to expand their taste buds through cooking and eating.

About the Venue:

Parking: Starting at 6 pm, you cannot park on the south side of Massachusetts Avenue (same side of the street as our building entrance). The parking rule changes right at 6pm, so we encourage arriving a little early to ensure you are parked on the correct side before class starts. There is usually parking available on side streets, Shields and Brayton, or further down Massachusetts Ave.

MAP Thursday Market: Every Thursday from 3-6pm, the year-round MAP Farmhouse Market offers high-quality produce and artisan products from MAP’s urban farm & commercial kitchen, as well as other local producers. Stop by early to shop a weekly selection of seasonal and locally grown produce, pantry staples and specialty goods, including free range organic eggs, herbs, mushrooms, honey, flowers, preserved goods, beauty products, and much more!
