With Cyclone Alfred bringing extreme weather this weekend, we’ve made the decision to postpone our Sunset Dinner. While we were looking forward to hosting you, safety comes first.
The new date is Saturday, 22nd March, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone for a beautiful evening (without the wild weather!).

We understand this change may not work for everyone, and for those unable to attend, we’re processing refunds. However, this also means a limited number of tickets have become available—you can find them via the links in our bio.

Italian Sunset Dinner at The Dairy

For nearly a century, The Dairy at Burringbar has been nestled in lush green fields, surrounded by rolling hills, Jersey cows, and happy hens. Our family has been its custodians for almost 50 years, with three generations growing up here—milking house cows, collecting eggs, making butter and cheese, and sharing abundant meals with family and friends.

Food is at the heart of our Italian heritage. Some of our fondest memories are of long, laughter-filled dinners with Nonna, her table set under the old black bean tree, where we gathered as the sun dipped below the hills. The air was thick with the aroma of slow-cooked meats, fresh pasta, and fragrant herbs, while share plates overflowed with antipasti, handmade ravioli, wood-fired bread, and verdure di primavera (spring vegetables). And, of course, there was always room for dolci.

Now, we invite you to experience this tradition with us. As golden hour bathes the farm in its warm glow, join us for our first event of 2025—the Italian Sunset Dinner. Gather around our long table at The Dairy and savour authentic dishes crafted from fresh, local produce, inspired by the flavours of our family’s villages in both northern and southern Italy.

Our previous events sold out in just a week, so be sure to book early to secure your seat at this intimate gathering. We look forward to sharing our table, our traditions, and a magical summer evening with you.

Your ticket includes a sumptuous traditional celebration of spring feast.
You can bring your own wine or beer, we will supply the glasses. We will have non-alcoholic refreshments available.
Parking is available on-site in the front paddock (we will meet and direct you) or at the Rail Trail UPPER BURRINGBAR Car Park.
The dairy is a stone's throw from the rail trail, so ride your bike for a guilt-free dinner if you feel fit!
Dietary requirements can be accommodated (even gluten allergies) if you provide us with 7 days advance notice, so please let us know when you book.
You must wear closed-in flat shoes... you will be in the paddock under the tree.
THIS IS AN OUTDOOR EVENT, so please bring some insect repellant, a light jacket and a hatjust in case.
We love puppies and other animals, but this is a working farm, so dogs and pets are prohibited.
This is a non-smoking event.
In the event of rain, the long lunch will be hosted under the cover of a marquee
Children are welcome, but no discounts are available.
Please provide the names of all the people you want to be seated with if they are not in your booking. We cannot guarantee seating together if we find out on the day.
Cancellation with a 20% cancellation fee is available up to 10 days before the event. No refund after this time
