Ithaca Queer Speed Dating - Building Community and Making Friends
Event description
Queer Speed Dating is all about building community and making new friends! We will collect donations of $5 in advance and $10 at the door. All proceeds will be donated to the Ithaca Pride Alliance!
3:00 -- Doors to the backroom open
4:00 - 6:00 -- Speed Dating (see below for format)
6:00 - 7:00 -- Social hour. Meet more new friends, connect more deeply with folx you met while speed dating, etc.
Queer Speed Dating Format
Participants will meet a new person every 4-5 minutes. At the beginning of your speed date, you will be given a new discussion prompt to help get the conversation flowing. At the end of the date, you will move on to your next date and get a new discussion prompt. We will take breaks every 20 minutes. We expect that you'll have the opportunity to go on up to 20 dates over the course of two hours!
