IWCC Guided Life Drawing, Still Life and Practice Sessions
Event description
The Venue of this Event is at the Summer Hill Community Centre (not LBH)
If you are experiencing the beauty and spirit of drawing for the first time or, you are on a journey to grow your drawing confidence, IWCC Guided Sessions offer a unique learning experience. Designed for beginners and non-beginners we offer a space to build on our collective knowledge.
How Do Guided Sessions Work
Guided sessions are a flexible and interactive way of learning and practicing. They involve a dialogue between the instructor and the attendee, who together identify "areas of fulfillment or practice" that suit the needs and interests of the attendee. The sessions also provide a space to observe the instructor or another peer as they tackle a problem and ask questions along the way. Work closely with the life model or the still life arrangement to focus on complex anatomy or fine detail, work at your own pace and without pressure or evaluation.
The sessions alternate between Tuesday and Saturday evenings from 6:30 pm - 8 pm fortnightly and are currently running at the Summer Hill Community Centre (subject to change).
