About our Guest Speakers:

Fiona Horne is one of the world’s most respected Witches. She is the author of fourteen best- selling books on Modern Witchcraft, published over the last two decades, which see her work having a generational impact on the evolution of the Modern Witch. Her tireless devotion to dispelling negative myths and stereotypes contributes to the freedom of Modern Witches to practice their Craft today without fearing vilification and persecution.

Thirty years ago, Fiona launched a career in the entertainment industry as the lead singer of chart-topping Aussie 90’s electro-rock band, Def FX, who enjoyed hits in the Top 20 US Billboard Dance Charts and regular high rotation on MTV, touring with bands like The Smashing Pumpkins and No Doubt.  In 1997, she released her first book, ‘Witch’ with Random House and continued on to be a popular radio and television personality, appearing on many programs around the world.

Libby Mettam was elected as a Member of Parliament in a by-election in 2014, following the retirement of former Member for Vasse, Troy Buswell.

She was the Whip in the final year of the Barnett Government.

Following the election of the McGowan Government in 2017, she has held several shadow portfolios including Tourism & Small Business, Transport and Fisheries and was appointed Deputy Leader of the WA Liberal Party in 2020.

The 2021 election result saw her returned as one of only two Liberal members in the Legislative Assembly, losing just 2.1% of her primary vote.

Since the 2021 election, Libby has taken on the shadow portfolios of Health, Mental Health, Disability Services and the Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence.

Libby also chairs the Community Development and Justice Standing Committee which is currently conducting an inquiry into sexual harassment against women in the FIFO mining industry.

Dr Sarah Moore of Busselton is an integrative GP obstetrician, medical educator, researcher, wife, and mother of two young children.

"I love working together with women and their families to support them through their pregnancy, birth and beyond, providing person-centred holistic health care in Busselton.

"I also work with adults and children providing an integrative approach to their health care. I enjoy teaching medical students and general practice trainees. I am currently completing my Masters in Research, examining the impact of mindfulness training on the stress and self-compassion levels of participating medical students. I am very grateful to be married to a very supportive husband, and have two beautiful daughters who bring much joy to our lives."
