International Women’s Day Online Event 2021

Join Australia for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, for our first International Women’s Day online event on Monday 8 March 2021.

The event “Empowering. Inspiring. Uplifting: Together supporting women worldwide” features a line-up of inspirational global speakers including refugee women, members of our Leading Women Fund and UNHCR’s senior women leaders – hosted by Naomi Steer, Australia for UNHCR National Director.

Our event speakers are:

All funds raised from ticket sales will support a community centre in Jordan – focused on providing refugee women access to skills based training, livelihood and employment opportunities, and a safe space to connect.

The winner will be drawn by an Australia for UNHCR representative by random barrel draw on Tuesday 2 March 2021. The winner will be notified by phone and email within 24 hours of the draw
