In celebration of International Women’s Day, Women in Finance QLD is delighted to host a special Educate Event focused on empowering women across the industry and hosting meaningful conversations around gender equity.

 

Join us for an engaging 2 course lunch featuring a panel of three distinguished guest speakers, each a respected leader and advocate within their field. Over lunch, our speakers will share insights into the evolving landscape for gender equity, diversity and inclusion. They’ll discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping their industry, and explore the vital role we all play in fostering more inclusive and equitable workplaces.

Amber Warren - Australia Chair and Australasian Region CEO

Amber is the Australia Chair and Australasia Region CEO at Dentons. Amber has spent time as a Partner in the firm's litigation, banking & finance and financial services regulatory advisory teams and possesses a deep understanding of the full financial services life cycle.

Amber acts for a number of major Australian banks as well as smaller Australian lenders, foreign banks and corporations operating in the financial services sector.

Holly Stiles - Head of Financial Advisory Sydney - Grant Thornton

Holly leads the Corporate Finance, Forensic, and Restructuring teams.


Holly is an experienced M&A partner who advises business owners on their strategic plans; particularly undertaking acquisitions, raising capital including Private Equity and preparing for and undertaking a sale of the business.

Holly is also the National Executive Sponsor of Grant Thornton’s Gender Equity Network, championing equity, inclusion, and opportunity both within the firm and across the broader professional community, including as a member of Chief Executive Women and leading Grant Thornton's corporate sponsorship of Women on Boards.
