International Women's Day in Liverpool

International Women’s Day is a worldwide celebration of the achievements of women.

To recognise International Women’s Day 2020, Liverpool City Council is hosting a panel discussion and cocktail function at Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre.

The theme for 2020 is Each for Equal – an equal world is an enabled world. Join us as we hear the stories and experiences of key women in business and discuss the way forward to ‘Participation and Empowerment’.

Panellists:

• Charishma Kaliyanda, Liverpool City Councillor
• Elizabeth Dibbs, Western City District Commissioner, Greater Sydney Commission
• Lakshmi Logathassan, Young lawyer and community worker
• Carole-Anne Priest, Director and founding-partner of Imalia
• Lee de Winton, CEO, Sydney Metro Airports (Bankstown and Camden)

Entertainment by Western Sydney Youth Orchestra

Canapés and drinks will be served.
