IYNZ 2026 Convention with Abhijata Iyengar

Iyengar Yoga New Zealand are excited to be hosting Abhijata Iyengar for our 2026 Convention to be held at the Te Mahurehure Marae in Point Chevalier, Auckland.

Please note registrations will be rolled as follows:

1st July - Early Bird registration open to all IYNZ Certified Teachers and registered Teacher Trainees

1st August - Early Bird registration open to the wider IYNZ community as well as for Online Attendance

1st September - Full pricing registration open to IYNZ community and international students

CONVENTION SCHEDULE:

The convention will open with a Pōwhiri on Friday 13th February at 3.30pm(TBC). The class schedule for the weekend is as follows:

Friday 13th February 4.30pm - 7pm

Saturday 14th February 9am - 12pm and 4pm - 6.30pm Catered dinner at 7pm

Sunday 15th February 8am - 10am and 11am - 1.30pm

General workshop will be livestreamed. Recordings will be available.

Monday 16th February 9.30am - 12.30pm Teacher Development session (for IYNZ Teachers and registered Teacher Trainees). NB This session will not be livestreamed or recorded.

Convention price includes a catered dinner at 7pm on Saturday 14th February which will be held at the Marae.

The convention is open to current members of Iyengar Yoga New Zealand. General membership is $45 p.a. and you can sign up at our website iyengar-yoga.org.nz If you are an existing member, please make sure your membership fees are up to date.
