Jack Davies (WA) and The Grand Magoozi (VIC) Perform Live at the Witchcliffe Hall
Event description
Join us for a night of songs and poetry from two of Australia's finest touring folksingers. Jack Davies is a travelling musician, well known for his slick finger picking and rambling, humorous stories. Often performing with his group "Jack Davies and The Bush Chooks", the young singer has been awarded West Australia’s (WAM) folk/songwriter of the year award four times, released three records, and toured to sold out rooms across the country. The Grand Magoozi is a mesmerising and elusive folksinger, residing in the sleepy towns of regional Victoria. Her writing is quirky, poetic and warming to the heart. She is returning from a brief hiatus for a tour of WA with Jack. From singing about seagulls to mumbling poems of sorrow, these musicians love to laugh, poke and longingly stare at the world, be sure not to miss this unique evening of music. Limited tickets available. $25 entry from 6:30pm. For more details please visit www.jackdaviesandthebushchooks.com/tour
