Jaga Band@ Humph Hall

Jaga Band - Australian, fresh minded, multicultural ensemble – presents famous virtuosic Eastern European melodies with a focus on Carpartian melodies from Ukraine, but also include Hungarian, Jewish, Slovak and Romanian songs and dances. 

Their repertoire is very light and catchy providing easy listening and encourages active participation such as dancing and singing along. 

As members of variety of different bands and orchestras, Jaga Band musos have been successful performers on variety major music events for years – locally and internationally. This is their first experience gathering together to show off the great mix of Eastern European Culture. 

Jaga Band promotes popular Eastern European authentic instruments including the soplika/recorder, cymbalon and violin.
