Inspired by a trip to India, the phrase 'monkey business' came to mind. The monkeys at the temples were clearly running a muck and having a good time - which is what we bring to our show.
At its core, 'Monkey Temple' is a song about community, bringing people together and those good time vibes. With the magic of Sian Fenn on flute and harmonies, 'South 76' drummer Ben Clark and 'Hey Romona' bassist Joe Forte, The Wildflowers blend a colourful and unique sound that packs a punch.
"For me, music has always been about finding my way back to myself," Jake says. "If my songs can help someone remember the part of themselves they thought they'd lost, then I've done what I set out to do."
